Rob Doyle - Principal

Rob Doyle Rob studied as a Naval Architect at the Southampton Institute (Solent University). On graduating in 1994, he moved to the USA, to Newport, Rhode Island - the centre of yachting in America - to work for Rodger Martin Yacht Design. The call of home and a position as Head Designer at Ron Holland Design lured Rob back to Kinsale in 1996.

Since then Rob has been intricately involved in every Holland project the studio has had. Most notably amongst the sailing yachts are M5 (ex-Mirabella V), Ethereal, Christopher and the Perini Navi series, and on the motor yacht front Rob collaborated on Affinity, Marco Polo and Karia.

When Ron moved permanently to Vancouver In 2013 Rob took over the Kinsale design office and rebranded it in his own name. Rob continues to collaborate on all Ron Holland Design projects as well as forging his own path.

Married to Emma and with three young sons Beau, Rio and Cash when Rob isn't travelling he is an active sailor using his extensive racing experience that ranges from A Class multihulls all the way through to Superyachts.
